Conflict Management Program
Image for Conflict Management Program Conflict resolution, also known as alternative dispute resolution (ADR), is one of the fastest growing fields all over the world. Its practitioners hail from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Conflict resolution (ADR) is the process of resolving a dispute or a conflict by providing for the needs of each participant and by adequately addressing the interests of each participant so that all participants are satisfied with the outcome.

Conflict resolution (ADR) methods form a continuum across which the participants’ degree of control varies. During negotiation and mediation, the participants retain total control and must voluntarily agree to a settlement. During arbitration and adjudication, at the other end of the continuum, the participants cede control to a third party (the arbitrator or judge) who is empowered to impose a decision that resolves the dispute. Combinations of various methods are also employed.

Conflict resolution (ADR) methods are usually cheaper and require less time than more traditional adversarial approaches. Recognition of these cost-effective advantages has led to substantial growth in their use by business and other organizations in recent years.

HUCE’s Conflict Management and Resolution Certificate Program will provide you with the training you need to launch a successful career in this exciting new profession.
